2 c. sugar

2 c. syrup

1 lb margarine

2 tsp ground aniseed

1 tsp cloves

1 tsp ginger

1 tsp baking soda

2 eggs

½ c. sour milk

8 c. flour

Mix sugar, syrup, marg. and spices. Boil 2 minutes.

Add remaining ingredients.

Refrigerate for a while.

Form into long rows and freeze hard.

Take out, slice thin.

Bake at 375 for 8 min.

Haystacks (for 60)

Cook 2-3 min:

4 c. white sugar

4 c. brown sugar

2 c. milk

2 c. margarine

Add:

12 c. rolled oats

16 T. cocoa

4 c. cocoanut

4 tsp vanilla

 

Drop on wax paper.

Short Bread

1 lb. butter (2 c.) or margarine

1 c. icing sugar

4 c. flour

1 unbeaten egg

2 tsp lemon juice

 

Cream butter and icing sugar and beat well.

Add unbeaten egg and beat

Mix flour & lemon juice

Bake at 325 for 10-15 min.

Monster Cookies (30 doz)

1 lb butter

2 lbs brown sugar

4 c. white sugar

1 T. syrup

3 lbs peanut butter

12 eggs

8 tsp. baking soda

1 tsp salt

1 tsp vanilla

18 c. oatmeal

1 lb smarties

1 lb choc. Chips

 

Cream butter and sugar

Add remaining ingredients

Bake at 350 for 12 min.

Peanut Butter Choc. Chip Cookies (16doz)

4 c. peanut butter

8 c. sugar

8 tsp vanilla

8 c. flour

8 eggs

2 c. cocoa

4 tsp Baking soda

2 tsp salt

2 pkg choc. Chips

 

Cream peanut butter and sugar

Add eggs & vanilla

Combine flour, cocoa, B.S., salt and blend into creamed mixture

Stir in choc. Chips

Bake at 350 for 9 min.

Peanut Butter Chip Choc. Cookies

3 c. margarine

1 c. peanut butter

3 c. brown sugar

3 c. white sugar

8 tsp. vanilla

8 c. flour

8 eggs

1 ½ c. cocoa

2 tsp baking soda

2 tsp baking powder

2 tsp salt

2 pkg. butterscotch chips

 

Bake at 350 for 9 min.

Ginger Crackles (4doz)

3 1/2 c. flour

2 T. ginger

4 tsp. baking soda

2 tsp. cinnamon

1/4 c. molasses

¼ c. syrup

1 tsp salt

1 ½ c. shortening

1 c. white sugar

1 c. brown sugar

2 eggs

 

Sift dry ingredients & add to wet ingredients.

Dough will be dry & mealy, work with hands to make a pliable dough.

Shape balls size of walnuts, roll in sugar

Bake at 300-325

Munchie Cookies (320)

8 c. flour

8 c. coconut

8 c. rolled oats

4 c. margarine

8 c. sugar

8 eggs

8 T. corn syrup

4 tsp. baking soda

8 tsp baking powder

 

Mix margarine, syrup, eggs and sugar.

Add dry ingredients.

Roll into balls, put on greased cookie sheet

Bake at 350 for 10 min.

Chocolate Chip Muffins

¾ c. marg.

1 c. white sugar

2 c. flour

Mix into crumbs set aside ¼ c.

 

Add:

1 ½ tsp. baking powder

1 tsp of baking soda

1 c. milk

1 egg

1 c. choc. Chips

 

Bake at 350 for 20 min.
